I did it! The heel is turned. All I have to do now is knit around, do the toe decreases and graft the toe. I'm considering building a shrine to the lovely Amy Finlay, seeing as her free online heel turning video saved my sanity.
I was feeling pretty good about the whole thing and then my husband ominously reminded me that socks usually travel in pairs. I think I feel a case of early onset SSS (Second Sock Syndrome) coming on.
